Another Zanu PF MP Nabbed Over CDF Cash Scandal – Eduzim News

Tinashe Sambiri– The Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) has confirmed the arrest of Mberengwa East Member of Parliament, Tasara Hungwe, over allegations of concealing a personal interest in transactions linked to Constituency Development Funds (CDF).

According to ZACC, the charges arise from suspected irregularities in the handling and use of public funds allocated to the constituency.

Hungwe appeared before the Mberengwa Magistrate’s Court, where he was granted bail and remanded out of custody to 1 April 2026.
