Tawanda Maswanhise Ends Goal Drought Despite Motherwell Loss
Sports Correspondent – Tawanda Maswanhise finally broke his recent scoring slump in Motherwell’s 3-2 defeat to Falkirk on Saturday in the Scottish Premiership.
After three games without a goal, Maswanhise found the net again, scoring Motherwell’s second goal in the 90th minute. His previous goals came in a brace during a 2-1 victory over Dundee United in late February.
The striker played the full 90 minutes and now has seventeen league goals, keeping him at the top of the scoring chart, two ahead of second-placed Benjamin Nygren.
