Prospect Shim Mheuka sets new record in England, surpasses Harry Kane and Eddie Nketiah

Chelsea prospect Shim Mheuka has set a new record in England, surpassing what the likes of Harry Kane and Eddie Nketiah achieved in previous years.

Mheuka became England U19s’ record top scorer during the just-ended international break after netting his 15th goal and his tally has now eclipsed notable names such as Kane.

The youngster has been in terrific form this season, registering 23 goals and four assists in 27 matches across all competitions.

However, his opportunities with the first team at Chelsea FC have remained limited.

Meanwhile, Mheuka was born in the UK to Zimbabwean parents, making him eligible to represent both England and Zimbabwe at international level.

He is the son of Malcolm Mheuka, who played in the local top flight for Zimbabwe Saints and Circle Cement.
