Bournemouth Stun Arsenal Again With Late Winner at Emirates

Sports Correspondent – Bournemouth secured a dramatic 2-1 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, marking their second consecutive away win at the ground.

The visitors struck first through teenager Junior Kroupi, who finished at the back post after a well-worked move. Arsenal responded before the break, with Viktor Gyokeres converting from the penalty spot to continue his perfect scoring record from penalties in his debut season.

Despite Arsenal’s efforts to control the game, Bournemouth found the decisive goal in the closing stages. Alex Scott calmly slotted home from close range with 15 minutes remaining, sealing the win for the Cherries.

Bournemouth started brightly following a lengthy break since their last fixture and looked sharp in the early exchanges. Their persistence paid off in the 16th minute when Ryan Christie’s precise pass found Adrien Truffert, whose deflected cross was met by Kroupi at the back post.

Arsenal nearly responded immediately, with Kai Havertz heading over from a Declan Rice corner. The hosts continued to push forward, creating chances but struggling to convert.
The equaliser came after a set-piece situation when Gabriel’s effort struck Christie’s arm, prompting referee Michael Oliver to award a penalty.

Gyokeres stepped up and confidently buried the spot-kick to level the match.
The second half was a tense affair, with both sides battling for control. Arsenal made several changes, introducing Leandro Trossard, Max Dowman, and Eberechi Eze in search of a breakthrough.

Declan Rice came close with a long-range effort that forced a fine save from Djordje Petrovic, while Bournemouth also threatened on the counter. Defensive efforts on both sides kept the match finely balanced as time ticked away.

However, Bournemouth’s persistence paid off late on. A well-orchestrated move down the right saw the ball worked into the path of Scott, who made no mistake from close range to restore the visitors’ lead.

Arsenal pushed for an equaliser in the closing minutes, with Gyokeres and Gabriel Jesus both going close, but Bournemouth held firm to secure an impressive away victory.
