Warriors coach Marian Marinica will be considering another option at the centre back position in the Warriors squad after another player shifted to a new role over the weekend.
Sheffield Wednesday star Sean Fusire shifted to central defence over the weekend and made a notable impression during their goalless draw in the English Championship against promotion-chasing Coventry City.
Fusire has been playing mostly as a right-back and in midfield this season but has at times been deployed as a wide centre-back in a 3-4-3 formation.
With his shift to central defence, the 22-year-old becomes another option to consider in that position ahead of the four-nation tournament next month that will feature Nigeria, Jamaica and India in England.
Currently, the central defence positions are occupied by Teenage Hadebe and Munashe Garan’anga as the mainstays, while Gerald Takwara, Godknows Murwira and Isheanesu Mauchi have acted as cover.
Brendan Galloway has been another option in that position, but the Plymouth Argyle star has mainly been deployed as a left-back when playing for the Warriors.
