Sports Correspondent – Hardrock FC has issued a public apology following a viral incident in which a supporter was assaulted by a club steward during their home fixture against Ngezi Platinum Stars over the weekend.

The club confirmed that the steward involved in the altercation has been suspended pending further action.

Hardrock FC said it is taking the matter seriously and has committed to working closely with the Premier Soccer League (PSL) to address the situation.

In a statement, the club also emphasised its responsibility to ensure safety at match venues, pledging that measures will be strengthened to prevent similar incidents in the future.
