Scottland FC Khama Billiat has commented on his form turnaround after scoring his fifth goal of the season.

Billiat extended his tally and moved into second place on the 2026 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League scoring chart behind leader Ralph Kawondera of Herentals.

His latest goal came on Saturday after netting in the 1-0 win against rivals MWOS at Ngoni Stadium.

Speaking after the game, Billiat, who struggled last season due to many injury setbacks, said: “I want to thank God for keeping me fit and going. I also want to thank the club, players and coaches, who push us every day.

“It is a great challenge every day. Once we start speaking about the football, you can see we’re growing as a team every day, so with that, I just want to give credit to everyone around.”

On how they managed to beat MWOS, Billiat added: “We watched MWOS playing a couple of times, and we prepared well.

“The coach emphasised on utilising the half spaces around their centre-backs and coming deep.”
