Paris FC’s stance on the future of Marshall Munetsi revealed

Marshall Munetsi’s future at Paris FC is beginning to take shape, with the French side reportedly keen to keep the midfielder beyond his current loan spell.

According to a report from L’Équipe, as cited by Tribuna.com, Paris FC are planning a squad overhaul after securing their Ligue 1 status, and retaining Munetsi is among their priorities heading into the next campaign.

The club has been impressed by Munetsi’s impact since his arrival from Wolverhampton Wanderers in January, and are now seriously considering making his stay permanent.

The Zimbabwe international joined the Ligue 1 outfit on a short-term loan deal for the remainder of the 2025/26 season, with no option to buy included in the initial agreement. However, his performances have quickly changed the club’s thinking.

Munetsi himself is also open to staying in Paris, having previously enjoyed a successful spell in French football with Stade de Reims.

Discussions between the clubs are expected to take place at the end of the season, when his situation will be reassessed.
