She secured the coveted title and brought immense pride to her province and the nation.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-sa-government-congratulates-the-new-miss-south-africa\"><strong>SA GOVERNMENT CONGRATULATES THE NEW MISS SOUTH AFRICA<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The South African government was quick to offer its congratulations, releasing a statement celebrating her achievement, according to <em>EWN. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe wish Mazaleni well as she undertakes her reign and continues to inspire young women to pursue their dreams and contribute positively to society,\u201d the statement read. <\/p>\n<p>The government also highlighted the role of the pageant in promoting youth leadership and social responsibility.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-who-is-the-new-miss-south-africa\"><strong>WHO IS THE NEW MISS SOUTH AFRICA?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Qhawekazi Mazaleni, a youth ambassador, speech therapist, and author, impressed the judges with her purpose-driven vision. <\/p>\n<p>She holds a Master\u2019s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She has also authored a children\u2019s book designed to support learners with cerebral palsy. <\/p>\n<p>Her win provides a powerful platform to advance her advocacy for inclusive education and representation.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-first-and-second-princess\"><strong>THE FIRST AND SECOND PRINCESS <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The government also extended warm congratulations to the first and second princesses. Luyanda Zuma, who placed as the first runner-up, and Karabo Mareka, the second runner-up. <\/p>\n<p>They congratulated them for their remarkable performances in the competition.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-miss-universe-south-africa\"><strong>MISS UNIVERSE SOUTH AFRICA<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In a double victory for the province, the Eastern Cape also celebrated Mellisa Nayimuli from Butterworth.
