Mabviravira clinched the title in their debut top-flight season, becoming only the second team to achieve the feat since Independence, following Black Rhinos’ triumph in 1985.

The Tonderai Ndiraya-coached side, who made several key signings in June, reached an unassailable 65 points after opening a seven-point lead with just two matches remaining.

Scottland’s emphatic victory was inspired by goals from Tymon Machope’s brace, Khama Billiat, Ronald Pfumbidzai, and Tadiwa Chakuchichi.

Meanwhile, this marks a second successive league title for coach Ndiraya, who also lifted the trophy last season with Simba Bhora.

<!-- .entry-content
