However, being a choice mom is different. A single mom\u2019s world deals a lot with recovery and repair from baby daddy and the conflict that comes from breaking up with your partner.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The <em>John Cena<\/em> hitmaker said her journey into motherhood wasn\u2019t traditional, as she didn\u2019t want to base it on a relationship.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not the conventional way you\u2019d think of having a child. I did not choose a man, I chose a child. I wanted to have a child, I was not interested in having a relationship,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n<p>Madjozi also opened up about her dynamic with her child\u2019s father, saying that while they\u2019re not in a relationship, they have mutual respect and understanding.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI got a father of my child who is kind and gives me space. We have a great understanding. He\u2019s fantastic. We\u2019re having the best time. We don\u2019t have to be in each other\u2019s space, I don\u2019t owe him,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The star went on to share that she finds modern dating difficult and would rather raise her child alone than be in an unhappy relationship.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not easy to find a partner. I don\u2019t know why. I would much rather parent alone than parent with the wrong person. I can date freely. I feel free dating without that pressure. I have the privilege of not needing a relationship. I have the privilege of not needing a man,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Reflecting on her current phase in life, Madjozi admitted that motherhood has shifted her priorities, even influencing her career.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m at a point right now where I don\u2019t really want to make music.
