No matter where I travel or how far my music goes, there\u2019s a grounding energy here that feels like home in every sense.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve missed connecting with people who have walked this journey with me \u2014 from the early days to everything I\u2019ve become.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>ALSO READ: \u2018A true SA jazz legend\u2019: Tributes pour in for veteran musician Pops Mohamed<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-intimate-night-of-raw-energy\">\u2018Intimate night of raw energy\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>The singer said attendees can expect an intimate night of raw energy and bold artistry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUntitled Basement is the perfect space because it\u2019s intimate; people get the raw Moonchild, the real stories, the nostalgia, the newness, all of it! I\u2019m excited to perform songs my day-ones know and love, as well as pieces from Full Moon that I\u2019ve been touring abroad,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, Sanelly released her third studio album, <em>Full Moon<\/em>. The 12-track album includes the single <em>To Kill a Single Girl (Tequila)<\/em>, which was released in December last year.<\/p>\n<p>She said people can expect a performance of most of the songs from the album on the 18th.<\/p>\n<p>Untitled Basement manager Nosisi Ngakane said the venue takes pride in presenting artists in ways that the community has never experienced before.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMoonchild has always been a dynamic and exceptionally talented artist. It\u2019s exciting for people to witness Moonchild in her current form, but many may be surprised by the many lives she\u2019s lived to get here, and just how extensive her catalogue and story truly is.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom her early singing days with a violinist to the powerhouse she is today, her journey is remarkable. It\u2019s also rare to experience Moonchild up close in such an intimate setting.
