He has been repeatedly accused of spreading disinformation about his country of birth.<\/p>\n<p>Musk is the son of Errol Musk, a wealthy engineer and property developer, who had shares in a Zambian emerald mine.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-elon-musk-slams-racist-laws\">ELON MUSK SLAMS \u2018RACIST LAWS\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>As he has done several times before while mentioning his internet satellite company Starlink, Elon Musk berated South Africa\u2019s transformative legislation, which he has labelled \u201crace laws\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>He went as far as comparing it to Apartheid.<\/p>\n<p>He posted on the X platform, which he owns: \u201cSouth Africa now has more anti-white laws than Apartheid had anti-black laws.\u00a0 This is deeply wrong: the goal should be no race-based laws!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t        <iframe title=\"bj_embed\" class=\"dx-embed\" id=\"dxIframe-0\" style=\"width: 100%\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Elon Musk has previously condemned one particular law \u2013 the Black Economic Empowerment Act \u2013 which requires Starlink to adhere to a percentage of local ownership.<\/p>\n<p>Here are a few of his X posts\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStarlink is not allowed to operate in South Africa because I\u2019m not black\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t        <iframe title=\"bj_embed\" class=\"dx-embed\" id=\"dxIframe-1\" style=\"width: 100%\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe South African government is super racist against anyone who isn\u2019t Black. Just a fact. It\u2019s literally in the laws.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t        <iframe title=\"bj_embed\" class=\"dx-embed\" id=\"dxIframe-2\" style=\"width: 100%\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cSouth Africa has now passed 142 laws forcing discrimination against anyone who is not black! Even though I was born in SA, the government will not grant @Starlink a license to operate simply because I am not black. This is a shameful disgrace to the legacy of the great Nelson Mandela, who sought to have all races treated equally in South Africa.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t        <iframe title=\"bj_embed\" class=\"dx-embed\" id=\"dxIframe-3\" style=\"width: 100%\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-trying-to-bully-us\">\u2018TRYING TO BULLY US\u2019<\/h3>\n<p>Presidential Spokesperson Vincent Magwenya responded to Elon Musk\u2019s X post about South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>He posted: \u201cHe thinks he can bully us into submission with his deliberate dishonesty. We will not be bullied!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t        <iframe title=\"bj_embed\" class=\"dx-embed\" id=\"dxIframe-4\" style=\"width: 100%\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>He added: \u201cOnly an unhinged, unrepentant racist will not understand how deeply offensive such words are to people who still bear the scars of apartheid and everyday work to dismantle the mess left by colonialism and Apartheid that benefited your ilk.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t        <iframe title=\"bj_embed\" class=\"dx-embed\" id=\"dxIframe-5\" style=\"width: 100%\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Former Public Prosecutor Thuli Madonsela also responded to Musk\u2019s tweet, commenting: \u201cWhy do you spread these lies, sir? Surely you know the truth! Your own LLM \/ AI accepts that without reparative justice, South Africa can never be a society of equals?
