<strong>Johannesburg Magistrate\u2019s Court<\/strong> is on Tuesday set to hear the <strong>bail application<\/strong> of the man accused of murdering popular media personality <strong>Warrick Stock<\/strong>, widely known as <strong>DJ Warras<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The accused, <strong>44-year-old Victor Majola<\/strong>, was arrested in connection with the <strong>fatal shooting<\/strong> of Stock outside a building in the <strong>Johannesburg CBD<\/strong> on <strong>16 December<\/strong> <strong>2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-charges-against-second-suspect-dropped\"><strong>Charges against second suspect dropped<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Majola last appeared in court on <strong>24 December<\/strong>, when the matter was postponed to allow the <strong>National Prosecuting Authority (NPA)<\/strong> time to verify his residential address.<\/p>\n<p>Charges against a second accused, a woman who was arrested alongside Majola at a hostel in <strong>Soweto<\/strong>, have since been withdrawn due to insufficient evidence.<\/p>\n<p>The NPA has confirmed that it will <strong>oppose Majola\u2019s bail application<\/strong>, citing the <strong>seriousness of the offence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-public-attention\"><strong>Public attention<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>During previous court proceedings, Majola alleged that he was <strong>assaulted by police<\/strong> at the time of his arrest. <\/p>\n<p>The allegation has been noted, but no further details have been provided.<\/p>\n<p>The case continues to draw public attention due to DJ Warras\u2019 prominence in the media industry, with supporters and colleagues closely following
