Like Amor, Marius lost his spouse to an illness.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-amor-vittone-acknowledges-ex-amid-new-relationship\">AMOR VITTONE ACKNOWLEDGES EX AMID NEW RELATIONSHIP<\/h2>\n<p>On her social media platforms, Amor Vittone has been inundated with well-wishes from her fans and followers after going public with her new partner, Marius van Biljon.<\/p>\n<p>Many have claimed that the star \u201cdeserves\u201d to find love after the loss of her husband, Joost van der Westhuizen, who died from motor-neurone disease in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Amor has liked many of the messages, including one that acknowledged her late husband.<\/p>\n<p>It read: \u201cNo one will take the place of Joost. But you deserve happiness\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She liked another that read: \u201cJoost was a legend, so sad he died early. I hope her in-laws keep their mouths shut and are happy their grandchildren have a mother who deserves happiness\u201d.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-drama-with-joost-s-family\">DRAMA WITH JOOST\u2019S FAMILY<\/h3>\n<p>Amor Vittone married Joost van der Westhuizen in 2002. They had two children together: Jordan and Kylie.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of his death from motor neurone disease in 2017, the couple were separated, and not divorced, despite widespread rumours.<\/p>\n<p>What followed was a bitter, public dispute over his will.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The contents of Joost\u2019s will were made public in the months following his death. To his wife of 15 years, he left a mere television set.<\/p>\n<p>However, Amor maintains that the 2009 joint will, in which she was Joost\u2019s only heir, was his only valid will.\u00a0 According to <em>IOL,<\/em> Amor petitioned the Supreme Court for leave to appeal the court\u2019s ruling on the will. In a 2018 social media statement, Amore revealed that she would \u201cappeal to death.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fast forward to 2022, Amor confirmed that the dispute over the will was ongoing.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview on Laataand by Rian in 2024, Amor recalled how Joost promised to always provide for her and her children.
