To obtain a bachelor\u2019s pass, a learner must achieve:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>at least 40% in their home language;<\/li>\n<li>at least 50% in four other subjects (excluding life orientation); and<\/li>\n<li>at least 30% in other subjects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">A bachelor\u2019s pass allows learners to apply for degrees at both public and private universities.
