This was just one day after he released a statement addressing the divorce via an Instagram Story.<\/p>\n<p>He first apologised to Kristy, stating the mother of his kids will always come first. Desmond said that he is committed to being a present father to their two sons.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to begin by apologising to Kristy, our family, and everyone who has been impacted by the public attention surrounding this situation. I know this news has been disappointing for many, and I\u2019m truly sorry for the hurt it has caused,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKristy is\u00a0the mother of my children, and that will always come first. I remain fully committed to being an active, present, and loving parent to our boys, as I have always been,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n<p>Desmond also seemingly admitted to infidelity saying he \u201cmade choices he was not proud of.\u201d However, he also stated that he wanted to separate towards the end of 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKristy and I faced challenges and made sincere efforts to work through them. Toward the end of 2025, I wanted to separate, and had conversations with Kristy regarding this. During this period, I made choices that I am not proud of. The pair were married for 11 years, having celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary with a lavish party.<\/p>\n<p id=\"h-inside-the-scott-s-love-story\">Kristy and Desmond met when they were just 14 and 15 years old, respectively. The pair dated in middle school. Kristy and Desmond got married in 2014, where they were 19 and 20 years old respectively. Together they have two sons \u2013 Westin and Vance.<\/p>\n<p id=\"h-inside-the-scott-s-love-story\">The report says the former married couple would soon stop living together. This comes after they spent years building their dream home together.
