They then lost their final match 3-2 against neighbours South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Ahead of the tournament, the national team was the lowest-ranked side in the group.<\/p>\n<p>Following the poor results and failure to reach the knockout stages, the Warriors have dropped three places to number 132 \u2014 their lowest position in the history of the FIFA Ranking system.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, the national team\u2019s lowest position was number 131.<\/p>\n<p>On the African rankings table, Zimbabwe are placed 37th.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Morocco remain Africa\u2019s top-ranked team despite losing the AFCON final to Senegal, who retained second place.<\/p>\n<p>The latest rankings were released on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Africa Top 10: 1.
