class=\"soccer24-banner-image\"\/><\/div>\n<p>Highlanders could cancel the contract of South African coach Thabo Senong less than two weeks after signing the deal.<\/p>\n<p>The development comes after the club revisited benefactor Wicknell Chivhayo\u2019s offer to have Benjani Mwaruwari appointed as the team\u2019s head coach.<\/p>\n<p>The club had counter-proposed appointing Mwaruwari as a technical manager, with Senong taking up the role of head coach.<\/p>\n<p>However, Chivhayo was not interested in the club\u2019s proposal, and the businessman was also reported to have reneged on his promise to sponsor the Bulawayo giants.<\/p>\n<p>This prompted Bosso\u2019s leadership to meet Chivhayo in Harare to reconsider the initial offer, while also ironing out details of the deal to appoint Mwaruwari.<\/p>\n<p>With Mwaruwari now coming on board, Highlanders will be forced to pay compensation to Senong.<\/p>\n<p>The South African is currently in his native country after the Zimbabwean
