But I was the first face of dark skin lotion and doing all of those things. I also did a Pepsi ad with Michael Jackson and Tina Turner,\u201d she said, proudly reflecting on the global platforms she accessed early on.<\/p>\n<p>Yvonne also weighed in on live performances, pushing back against the idea that artists of her generation had it easier.<\/p>\n<p>Comparing past shows to today\u2019s concert culture, she remarked, \u201cWe filled up Venda Stadium. People came to our shows, and they paid.
