League side Wolverhampton Wanderers have entered into a partnership with Zimbabwean football academy Momentum Academy in a move set to boost grassroots development in the country.<\/p>\n<p>The collaboration will see Wolves share the club\u2019s football philosophy and curriculum at both recreational and developmental levels, while also providing online coaching education to local trainers.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the agreement, the EPL outfit will send their coaches to Zimbabwe annually to conduct development and recreational camps, with \u201cGolden Chance\u201d opportunities expected to be introduced in the future.<\/p>\n<p>Young Zimbabwean players will also have the opportunity to travel to Wolverhampton in the United Kingdom to experience the club\u2019s world-class facilities, meet technical staff and train at Compton Park, the club\u2019s training base.<\/p>\n<p>Wolves\u2019 international football development manager Shawn Briscoe hailed the partnership, praising the work being done at grassroots level.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMomentum Academy are doing fantastic work at grassroots level, and we\u2019re looking forward to working closely together to help young players realise their potential and create lasting impact within their communities,\u201d said Briscoe.<\/p>\n<p>Momentum Academy director Fidelis Mashonga believes the agreement will open new pathways for local talent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWorking with Wolves gives our players and coaches direct access to international standards, structured development frameworks, and genuine pathways that can redefine what is possible for young athletes in our country,\u201d Mashonga said.<\/p>\n<p>Wolves is currently home to two Warriors internationals \u2013 Tawanda Chirewa and Marshall Munetsi \u2013
