According to Irish media, many were from South Africa.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-nigerian-family-deported-from-ireland-asylum-denied\">NIGERIAN FAMILY DEPORTED FROM IRELAND, ASYLUM DENIED<\/h2>\n<p>According to the <em>Irish Times<\/em>, Nigerian woman Titilayo Oluwakemi Oyekanmi and her three sons had been notified of their deportation on Saturday, 28 February.<\/p>\n<p>The family, who were born in Nigeria, fled permanent residency in South Africa for Ireland.<\/p>\n<p>Oyekanmi claimed that a criminal gang in South Africa brutally beat her and that she feared for the lives of her children.<\/p>\n<p>She and her children arrived in Ireland in 2023, seeking asylum.
