Prof Lovemore Madhuku Seriously Injured \u2014 Police Storm Party Offices in Harare<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

By A Correspondent | HARARE, Zimbabwe \u2014 National Constitutional Assembly (NCA) leader Professor Lovemore Madhuku has been injured after an apparent assault by police at the party\u2019s offices along Herbert Chitepo Avenue earlier this morning.<\/p>\n

Harare Times published multiple images showing Madhuku and several party members receiving treatment at a local clinic following the confrontation. The photographs depict severe bruising and whip-like injuries across Madhuku\u2019s back and torso.<\/p>\n

NCA spokesperson Madock Chivasa confirmed the incident to media outlets:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were holding a meeting this morning when police rounded up and attacked our members, including our leader Professor Madhuku. He has been injured.\u201d<\/p>\n
