Authorities have urged mining companies and transporters to comply fully with the regulations to avoid prosecution.

The government also warned the public to report any illegal mineral export activities, saying: “We will not tolerate smuggling or attempts to circumvent this ban. All unprocessed mineral exports must stop immediately.”

Industry stakeholders are now expected to focus on developing local processing plants and adhering to the new legal framework, ensuring that Zimbabwe benefits fully from its mineral wealth.

Related

<ins class="adsbygoogle"
     style="display:block"
     data-ad-client="ca-pub-1669381584671856"
     data-ad-slot="3579572842"
     data-ad-format="auto"
     data-full-width-responsive="true"></ins>
#Mnangagwa #Imposes #Total #Ban #Unprocessed #Mineral #Exports #ZimEye

Mnangagwa Imposes Total Ban on Unprocessed Mineral Exports Tinashe Sambiri– The Emmerson Mnangagwa administration has clarified that the export of…

[32,11
289,6694,1823,9622,9711,973,202,9834,9835
post-51572","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-mzansi","category-world","tag-ban","tag-eduzim","tag-exports","tag-imposes","tag-mineral","tag-mnangagwa","tag-news","tag-total","tag-unprocessed
["GET
