Tatenda Mavetera said the organisation’s backing is based on governance continuity rather than personalities.

“Long-term national visions must align with political timelines to maintain economic progress,” she said. Observers warn that linking Vision 2030 so closely to President Mnangagwa risks politicising development goals and turning YW4ED into a platform for party loyalty rather than independent advocacy.

YW4ED also praised progress on the Revolving Fund, claiming that beneficiaries have been cleared and disbursements are expected this quarter. Critics question the fund’s transparency and reach, arguing that many young women in rural areas may still be excluded or face delays in receiving the support promised.

The organisation called on Parliament to pass Constitutional Amendment No. 3 and urged young women in leadership to participate in consultations. Analysts argue that such public endorsements blur the line between civic engagement and political campaigning, raising concerns that young women’s voices may be co-opted to legitimize government policies.

“We believe that with continued engagement and consistency in policies, Vision 2030 is achievable,” Mavetera said.

.

Related

<ins class="adsbygoogle"
     style="display:block"
     data-ad-client="ca-pub-1669381584671856"
     data-ad-slot="3579572842"
     data-ad-format="auto"
     data-full-width-responsive="true"></ins>
#Tatenda #Maveteras #Young #Women #4ED #Declares #Unstoppable #ZimEye

Tatenda Mavetera’s Young Women 4ED Declares 2030 Unstoppable Tinashe Sambiri– Young Women for Economic Development (YW4ED) has once again declared…

[32,11
9850,1932,6694,9079,202,6146,5379,377,1450
post-51682","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-mzansi","category-world","tag-4ed","tag-declares","tag-eduzim","tag-maveteras","tag-news","tag-tatenda","tag-unstoppable","tag-women","tag-young
["GET
