Tinashe Sambiri\u2013 Controversial Zanu PF politician and businessman Killer Zivhu on Friday sparked fresh debate within political circles after publicly praising exiled former ruling party national political commissar Saviour Kasukuwere.<\/p>\n
Zivhu\u2019s remarks, which quickly circulated on social media, are widely expected to anger some senior Zanu PF officials, particularly at a time when tensions are already rising within the ruling party.<\/p>\n
In a message directed at Kasukuwere, who has been living outside Zimbabwe following his fallout with the party leadership, Zivhu described him as a fearless figure who cannot easily be intimidated.<\/p>\n
\u201cChirandu, hamubvunduki masango, nyuchi, nzunzi, tsetse fly kana vunyunyu, tekairai murunyararo gono remasango,\u201d Zivhu said.
The Shona message loosely translates to a tribute portraying Kasukuwere as a brave and resilient individual who is not shaken by danger or obstacles.
Kasukuwere, once a powerful figure within Zanu PF, fell out with the ruling party leadership during the political upheaval that led to the removal of former president Robert Mugabe in 2017.<\/p>\n
