I work for my money. Government does events every day, and they have other artists that they book. They have service providers that they book, and I’m not in that,” he said.

He also explained that benefiting from such arrangements would put his partner’s career at risk and is not something he would ever consider.

“Imagine me doing those funny things with my women’s job. She’d be out of a job, and I’d have to look after her. I don’t have to; I’m not a starving artist. I’m not that type of guy that does shady things. I’ve never been that guy.”

The DJ also addressed another topic that has been widely discussed online, about his noticeable weight loss.

Some social media users had speculated that the change was due to the use of the popular diabetes medication Ozempic, which has gained attention for its weight-loss effects.

Shimza rejected the rumours, explaining that the transformation came from lifestyle changes, including exercise and healthier eating habits while travelling for work.

He said the demanding nature of his schedule, which involved frequent flights and performances, motivated him to stay disciplined.

“When I was doing those 400 flights last year, somehow what got me to lock in was the amount of running I was doing. I would get to a hotel in the mornings as tired as I am, take an hour jog and then rest, then go to the show.”

He added that cutting sugar from his diet also played a significant role in the change.

“I stopped eating burgers and stuff and cut the sugar. I don’t drink any sugar now; I always drink water, that’s all I drink. And I’ve been off the sodas for two and a half years now because I don’t drink alcohol. Maybe that’s why I shed a lot of weight.”

Shimza said he now runs about 5km daily to maintain his fitness but noted that he has no issue with people who choose to use Ozempic for weight loss.

“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with people using Ozempic. Now you want people to lose weight the way you want to lose weight?” he said.

<ins class="adsbygoogle"
     style="display:block"
     data-ad-client="ca-pub-1669381584671856"
     data-ad-slot="3579572842"
     data-ad-format="auto"
     data-full-width-responsive="true"></ins>
#Shimza #denies #tender #rumours #addresses #weight #loss #speculation

Shimza defends people using Ozempic to lose weight South African DJ Shimza has responded to ongoing speculation surrounding both…

[32

post-52578","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-mzansi
["GET
