This milestone marks a significant turning point in my journey,” she said.

Opening up about the toll of the experience, she added: “There are parts of me that still feel the pain of walking through this process but today, I feel powerful, brave and resolute. I am complete and proud that I still stand!”

While she chose not to reveal everything she endured, Phamotse hinted that her full story is yet to be told.

“There are things that I have gone through in the last two years that I will never say but you should know that I was taking notes, documenting and scribing… when I am ready I will give you a solid book about everything that happened from the day I was convicted until present time.”

Despite the controversy that led to her conviction, the author made it clear she has no intention of backing down from her voice.

“I will never stop writing, nor will I ever not say what I mean,” she declared, while also acknowledging responsibility for her words: “I am human of course I realise the gravity of my words and I take full responsibility for those, hence I say, I will stand firm on what I believe in.”

Describing the period as one of darkness and personal struggle, Phamotse said: “It’s been two years in the dark. Life has been wild, scary and some parts of me are shattered. However, I am not weak… I have come too far to not live again.”

Now focused on rebuilding and celebrating her freedom, she revealed plans for a major traditional celebration later this year.

“September will be a month you never forget! We will celebrate with a 7 day traditional ceremony, 3 cows, 3 goats and we will worship the Lord in honour of my life.”

She also had a message for those who doubted her: “To those that waited for my downfall, sorry you have to watch another season of my life. I am going to live and live boldly. With no shame or sadness.”

Closing her statement on a hopeful note, Phamotse thanked her supporters and teased what lies ahead: “To my readers, you bet a new book is coming!”

<ins class="adsbygoogle"
     style="display:block"
     data-ad-client="ca-pub-1669381584671856"
     data-ad-slot="3579572842"
     data-ad-format="auto"
     data-full-width-responsive="true"></ins>
#Jackie #Phamotse #breaks #silence #house #arrest #ends

Jackie Phamotse’s house arrest ends Outspoken South African author Jackie Phamotse announces that her period of house arrest has…

[32

post-54895","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-mzansi
["GET
