Speaking during the Easter celebrations of the Zion Christian Church at Mbungo in Masvingo, which were attended by President Emmerson Mnangagwa, Bishop Mutendi praised Chivayo for his philanthropic efforts.<\/p>\n
\u201cWicknell Chivayo\u2019s money is not dirty,\u201d Mutendi said. \u201cWicknell Chivayo is a giver. He is helping us, and some people are saying, \u2018Bishop, why are you accepting dirty money?\u2019 My response is simple \u2013 this is not dirty money. Chivayo is doing great work.\u201d<\/p>\n
The bishop drew a comparison with international donations, noting, \u201cSome of you are receiving donations from America, but you never say it\u2019s dirty money.\u201d<\/p>\n
