Major Albert Tizwa, a Military Intelligence Officer attached to the Presidential Guard, was arrested in Newlands on Independence Day while allegedly in possession of an unregistered AK-47 rifle and large sums of cash reportedly traceable to business interests linked to\u00a0Kudakwashe Tagwirei.<\/p>\n
The source claims that, despite the gravity of the allegations, Mnangagwa personally intervened to secure Tizwa\u2019s release.<\/p>\n
