The letter, purportedly written by party member Roy Chibatamombe and addressed to senior leadership, alleges that some party officials may have bypassed grassroots consultation processes by using existing party cell registers to complete CAB 3 forms without members\u2019 direct participation.\u00a0
According to the document, the forms\u2014intended to capture public input on the proposed constitutional amendments\u2014were allegedly filled using members\u2019 personal details, including national identity numbers, with claims that signatures may have been forged to suggest broader support for the Bill.
The development follows a reported directive attributed to\u00a0Mary Mliswa, requesting party structures to gather signed CAB 3 forms from constituents. However, the authenticity of the letter and the allegations it contains have not been independently verified, and no official comment has been issued by the party or government authorities.
