Each question carries a Total of 25 marks
Part a= 6 marks.
Part b= 11 marks
Part c= 8 marks-

PART A

  2. -Other words used include give,state,name or write down.

How do we do it?

    .

PART B

How do we do it?

-Essay format/paragraphs.

PART C

We must analyze and judge
Answers must have two sides plus judgment
For example lets answer this question -c part . To what extent did iron benefit people in central Africa.
C 1- iron benefited people in central Africa…..{show how iron benefited people in C.Africa}
C 2-However,the use of iron brought non benefits…{show non benefits of iron}
Judgment: Iron benefited people in C,Africa to a greater/to a lesser extent(choose one-depending on the points you have given)The side with more points is -to a greater extent.
You should always avoid having long sentences when answering C3 questions so that you can easily count your points when you want to judge.When you are judging, the statement which you use comes from the question… for example lets say the question is How important was the army in the Rozvi state? Then your judging statement becomes-” The army in thr Rozvi state was important to a——(greater/lesser) extent.
