Teenage Hadebe could be playing alongside Brazilian superstar Neymar Jr after transfer links emerged.
Neymar has been linked with a move to FC Cincinnati in Major League Soccer, which is home to Zimbabwe international defender.
According to ESPN Brazil, the former Paris Saint-Germain and FC Barcelona forward is in advanced talks with Cincinnati, with negotiations intensifying over the past couple of days.
Neymar was first linked to the MLS side on Thursday, and the player’s representatives — including his father, Neymar Sr. — are now expected to meet in person with Cincinnati co-CEO Jeff Berding, general manager Chris Albright, and a team specialised in image rights.
The two parties will discuss further financial details and determine the necessary conditions to bring the star stateside.
The Brazilian is still under contract at his boyhood club, Santos FC, in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A until the end of the year.
The publication adds that Cincinnati are hoping to sign Neymar in the MLS’s next transfer window, which comes after the 2026 World Cup, a tournament the Brazilian star could feature in.
