Explosive: Political Analyst Reveals Zanu PF Politburo Members Don’t Like Constitutional Amendment Bill Number 3
Tinashe Sambiri– Prominent political analyst and writer Reason Wafawarova has made sensational claims alleging deep internal resistance within the ruling party over the Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3, suggesting that even senior officials are privately opposed to the measure despite public support.
Writing on Facebook on Tuesday, Wafawarova claimed that members of the Zanu PF Politburo had quietly expressed dissatisfaction with the proposed reforms and were seeking alternative voices to challenge the process.
“I can reveal that 22 Politburo members and dozens of top officials who publicly endorse CAB 3 are secretly pleading with me to keep fighting this thing down,” he wrote.
He further hinted at more revelations to come, suggesting that further details would be released in due course.
“Explosive materials to come soon,” he added.
Wafawarova also responded to concerns raised by followers who urged him to protect his identity by using anonymous platforms due to safety fears.
“To those who ask me to open a ghost account for safety, let me say I do not fear either man nor death,” he said.
He went on to downplay the level of risk surrounding his claims, suggesting that threats or intimidation were exaggerated.
“Hapana anochida chinhu ichi. Kungotyisidzirana chete,” he wrote, implying that the situation is largely characterised by intimidation tactics rather than real danger.
The remarks have sparked debate online, with supporters and critics divided over the credibility and implications of the claims, particularly given the sensitivity surrounding constitutional reform discussions within political circles.
