Tinotenda Kadewere scored his first goal of the season on Saturday after netting in Aris FC’s 3-2 win over Volos NFC in the Greek Super League.
Kadewere, who joined Aris at the start of the season, has struggled since his arrival after suffering multiple injuries.
He started the match and played the full ninety minutes, finding the back of the net in the 76th minute to seal the victory. The goal came after the striker had registered an assist for the opening goal.
In England, defender Tendayi Darikwa was also on target, scoring in Lincoln City’s 2-2 draw against Stevenage in League One.
Reading midfielder Andy Rinomhota made his first start of the season, playing 88 minutes in the 3-1 loss to Cardiff City.
Brendan Galloway was not part of the Plymouth Argyle squad over the weekend.
In the EFL Championship, Sean Fusire retained his place in the Sheffield Wednesday starting XI in the 1-1 draw against Charlton Athletic and was deployed as a midfielder.
He played the entire match, while fellow countryman Marvelous Nakamba came on as a late substitute.
