Zimbabwean defender Tendayi Darikwa has been named in the 2025/26 EFL League One Team of the Season following an outstanding campaign with Lincoln City.
The experienced right-back earned the recognition after playing a key role in Lincoln City’s impressive season, which saw the club secure promotion to the Championship.
Darikwa, who was appointed club captain ahead of the campaign, was included in the Team of the Season alongside his Lincoln teammates George Wickens, Sonny Bradley and Jack Moylan.
The 34-year-old joined Lincoln City in 2024 after leaving the Cypriot Premier League side Apollon Limassol and has enjoyed a remarkable resurgence in England.
During the 2025/26 season, Darikwa featured regularly, making 42 appearance and scored dive goals. He also registered three assists.
