By A Correspondent – A domestic dispute in Mooihoek village in Sekhukhune has reportedly turned violent after a woman allegedly assaulted her husband following disturbing allegations of misconduct involving an animal.
According to Limpopo Newspaper, tensions had been building since January when some residents allegedly warned the woman that her husband was engaging in inappropriate sexual conduct involving a goat.
The claims were initially dismissed by the woman, who reportedly confronted those spreading the rumours.
However, the situation escalated on Sunday, 19 April, when she was allegedly taken to the scene and claims she witnessed the incident firsthand.
Following the confrontation, the woman is said to have accused her husband of bringing shame to the family and the community.
Although the husband reportedly pleaded for forgiveness, the situation turned violent, and he was allegedly assaulted until he lost consciousness.
He was later taken to a nearby medical facility for treatment, while the matter has since sparked shock and widespread discussion within the community.
