Three Killed in Coventry Road Industrial Accident – Eduzim News

By Crime and Courts Reporter-Police have confirmed that three people were killed in a tragic workplace accident along Coventry Road in Harare earlier today.

According to the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP), the incident occurred at around midday at a company operating in the area. The victims died on the spot after a pallet carrying glass panels fell on them while it was being offloaded from a truck.

Authorities say investigations are underway to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the accident, including whether proper safety procedures were followed during the offloading process.

The identities of the deceased have not yet been released, pending notification of their next of kin.

Police indicated that more details will be made available as investigations progress.
