By A Correspondent| Youth Minister Tino Machakaire has dismissed online media reports alleging to document aspects of his personal life, describing them as riddled with misinformation and misleading claims.

The remarks come after some online outlets, including The NewsHawks, published stories referencing his political journey and personal background.

“Allow me to say that you have no personal knowledge of my life and your assertions are grossly misinformed. As a public office bearer, I am accountable for my work, my conduct and the results I deliver, not for speculative narratives about my personal life,” Machakaire wrote on social media in response to the reports.

“No amount of mudslinging will ever separate me from my President, Cde Dr Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, and my Party, ZANU PF. My loyalty remains firm and unwavering. I fully support the progressive step towards strengthening governance, ensuring policy consistency, and advancing our national development agenda towards Vision 2030,” he wrote.

Machakaire has recently attracted widespread support on social media after urging young people to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities rather than rely on government tenders.

He stated that he has never been awarded a government tender, a remark that sparked debate online.

While some public figures attempted to criticise his comments, their views were largely drowned out by supportive responses endorsing his message.

His popularity on social media and within communities appears to be growing steadily, with supporters praising his ability to connect with people across different age groups.
