The match was played at Maphisa Stadium in Maphisa, Matobo District, Matabeleland South Province.
The encounter was part of Zimbabwe’s 46th Independence Day main celebrations.
The kickoff was delayed and eventually played in shortened 20-minute halves. Knowledge Musona scored the decisive goal in the 37th minute.
The victory marks Scottland’s first Independence Day Cup triumph.
