Former Warriors and Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Willard Katsande is enduring a difficult start to his coaching career.
Katsande was appointed as the head coach of Rangers FC in the MCM Estates Northern Region Soccer League ahead of the 2026 season. The appointment marked the first time the ex-Warriors skipper has taken up a head coach position.
The former midfielder is struggling to deliver results and is still seeking to register his first win of the season after six games.
Rangers, who have only picked up four draws and lost two matches, are in the relegation zone in 20th position with four points out of a possible 18.
Meanwhile, Chingwere FC is currently leading the league with 14 points, followed by Ngezi Platinum Stars U19.
