The Zimbabwe School Examination Council (ZIMSEC) has announced that the deadline for Ordinary and Advanced Level June 2023 examination registration is set for March 15.
According to a report by the Sunday News, candidates sitting for the June 2023 Ordinary Level examinations in public schools will be charged US$11 while private candidates will pay US$24 per subject. Those sitting for the June 2023 Advanced Level examinations in public schools will pay US$22, and private candidates will be charged US$48 per subject.
Registration fees can be paid in South African rand, US dollars, or Zimbabwe dollars at the interbank rate prevailing between March 8-15.
ZIMSEC has also stated that only candidates who have completed all Continuous Assessment Learning Activities (CALA) components will be able to write the ZIMSEC June examinations. CALA marks are valid for two years, and when candidates register for the next exam, they must submit their previous candidate and centre number for assessment. There is no requirement to sit for the exam at the same centre, and candidates can switch.
Continuous Assessment Learning Activities are now a mandatory part of assessment, and any candidate who wishes to sit for an exam must fulfill this requirement. Don’t miss out on the June 2023 Zimbabwe School Examinations – Register before the March 15 deadline!
