From the passage, *value judgmental research* refers to a *situation whereby the researcher’s personal affiliations or prejudices and ulterior interests are let loose to influence or shape the research process and eventually the results.* Examples of such *personal values* can be *researcher’s religion, class, race or level of education.*

Yes it sometimes is. The fact of human or social life is that *Sociologists are part of the society or social groups they study.They see, hear, live with/in and contribute towards the development of the very society or social groups.They are social actors studying other social actors.* The passage indicated that *what prompts Sociologists to study a particular topic or subject of life is the need to expose social issues as they see and hear them so that the wider society is mended or even deals with the issues exposed.*
